Babies are amazing. When I look at Will I see so much in him, hope, happiness, potential, the past, the future. He reminds me of his Great-Grandpa Hellings, it’s uncanny sometimes the way that they look alike. Alexander looks like Grandpa too, and I’m sure with Will’s blonde hair, he’ll look very similar to his Uncle in a few years time. I know that Eddie sees elements of his side of the family too, and has his own hopes and dreams for Will.
To me, Will represents all that is good and true in my family. His eyes are the most amazing azure blue, they’re his Father’s eyes. They hold infinite wisdom and a sureness that I’ve never seen before in anyone. I frequently get lost looking into them.
